This piece, "Abyss", was displayed at the Celebrity Sports Weekend Gala at the Chateau Lake Louise in January of 2009. This event is a fund raiser for Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s Waterkeepers Alliance. The artwork is a mixed media piece, made acrylic, with bits of hardware thrown in. It was created specifically for the Waterkeepers, so the extra twine and twigs are representative of items that get tossed into North American waterways.
