This piece is entitled "Riding the Bear", and was created as a fund raiser for the Bosom Buddies cancer support fund for families. "Riding the Bear" was so named for the battle that my sister Teri had each time she undertook chemotherapy. In each case she called the roller coaster of discomfort "riding the bear' and it was always a great relief when it was all over. The T3 Charity Fund (on the left) was created in her honour as she lost her battle in 2008, however events like the Bosom Buddies serves to lend support to families who are experiencing financial hurdles during the treatment of a loved one.
